Relax and Rejuvenate

Happiness varies from person to person. For you it could be a run or just watching netflix. But for me, happiness is soaking in a hot tub with bath bombs and sea salt. Accompanied with a glass of wine and a good book, after another exhausting day at work. I presume that many will find this a waste of time and water. I cannot debate on the water part. But I am sure that this is one of the most relaxing experiences ever.

For me a bath is not just getting cleaned up. But it is the feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation at a low price, in the luxury of my own bathtub. It helps my muscles relax and increase circulation. Many times I light a few candles with jazz music which helps me practice mindfulness when I happen to not read. I pay extra attention to my feet as they deserve the pampering after a whole week in heels.

After a soak in my tub of relaxation, I proceed to look up different styles of bath mats, shower curtains and other decorative items for my bathroom from the comfort of my fluffy robe.

I do this once a week at the most, but that gives me enough energy to work the whole week and walk around in heels. Apart from relaxing and reviving my energy by long baths, I pay attention to my food. So, I need to totally run out of energy. Well, talking about my food is for another blog.
