Delightfully Bewitching Halloween Home Décor

While home decorating trends change yearly, at Amore Beauté our goal is to create home décor that is year-round and storage friendly. I enjoy working with clients to create inspirational custom designs and the finished product always brings a smile to their face. This years Halloween collection has been created for your home consists of unique pieces that are aesthetically attractive and feature intricate décor. Most importantly, they strike the right mix of spooky and stylish with these ideas.


BOLD BLACK

Evergreen black and shimmering gold feel warm and spooky.  But they have the power to glam up a room all year long.  Below are two of my black and gold shimmering creations.  I tend to use these decorative pillow covers for Halloween, Christmas, Anniversary and pretty much for any special occasion.

FRESH WHITE

You can team black and white or keep it fresh and classic in white. White isn't just for weddings anymore—it can be used to create a sophisticated Halloween look that will have all your friends wanting to dress like you!  

Here are some tips on how to get the look:

1. Use white linens for the cotton tablecloth with a classic Greek key embroidery and linen napkins. It's just a small detail but it will make you feel like you're at a fancy restaurant or wedding.

2. Use white candles in votive holders. They will add some elegance to your table without being too overwhelming or gaudy. 

3. Deck the hall chairs with simple textured white throw pillow covers or sparkling silver cushions for an extra razmataz. 

TRADITIONAL ORANGE

Oranges are a traditional Halloween color, but they can be used in so many ways! Here are some fun ways to incorporate orange into your Halloween décor.

- Make an orange centerpiece with pumpkins and gourds.
- Use orange candles for a dramatic effect.
- Decorate your living room couch with throw pillows in shades of orange and black. If you are looking for a rustic décor option, try an orange burlap table runner for a rustic country décor.

MAGIC PURPLE

Are you looking for a way to celebrate the dark and spooky side of Halloween? Look no further than these magical purple decorations - purple throw pillows, purple bottles and even purple velvet curtains.

There's something about purple that feels like it's right at home in the land of witches and ghouls, and that's why we love it so much this time of year. Whether you're going for an elegant look in your dining room or a more playful style in your living room, purple décor can bring a little bit of magic to any space.

Purple is also associated with mystery and magic—so why not make your Halloween party look like something out of Harry Potter? You could cover the walls in dark blue paint (just like Hogwarts) and then use purple glitter to write spells on them.

They have long green leaves that look like snakes and they thrive in low light conditions, which makes them ideal for indoor spaces.

  As a home décor  designer, I am constantly inspired by a diverse range of sources that fuel my passion for new concepts. My latest collection, "beauty of ombré," was birthed from a road trip from central India to southern India. On this 1000-mile journey, I was struck by the cascading colors of the morning and evening sky, the reflection of those colors in the lakes, and even the verdant green fields that showcased ombre shades of green and beige.
